I do 2D visual development art and illustration for games and animation. On the side I also enjoy 3D sculpting/modeling, 3D printing, and custom figure assembly and painting.I also do individual art commissions, and

[PERSONAL]
This section is full of stuff I drew for no reason whatsoever.<< BACK TO TOP
MT500…that’s probably not that kid’s bike though….
Boy and frog.
I drew this at a time when I was upset that nothing I made would come out the way I wanted. I wrote that like although it's past tense, but honestly nothing has changed.
The cover illustration of an art booklet I released at a convention. The title of the booklet is "I have given up".

Dissociating in the abandoned weapons facility
F16 after rain
Plane armpit (C-2 Greyhound)
Boykisser tank
At a certain point I decided I should turn all my original characters into furries that fly fighter jets, but I decided that maybe last week. So I still have to act on my executive decision before I can post them here.
Some of my favorite experimental planes scheming in a circle
raptor with gun
Kid and toy aircraft. At the time I was watching a lot of Youtube videos about messed-up looking aircraft.

If didn't go into Procreate with a particular illustration in mind, I just draw things on one canvas til I run out of space.
It's more Shin Megami Tensei. I think you can tell I really like this game series at this point, though that information does nothing to help my hiring prospects.
Tiger and fox. I was imagining a world where it was important to have a bigass tail, and the nine-tailed fox was born with none, so he killed a bunch of people and wears their tails for fun.
You know how they always joke people can see your ass when you wear a hospital gown? Well...

3D WORK / FIGURE
This section is primarily 3D models sculpted/modeled in Blender. Often I make the digital model (based off either my own 2D art or others' designs), key it into parts, then 3D print, sand, paint, and assemble it as a physical figure.<< BACK TO TOP
Original Character Figure: "X (Baby Version)"
Height: 12.5in/35.75cm. Sculpted in Blender, printed on the Elegoo Mars 3 and painted with the Harder & Steenbeck Ultra airbrush (0.2/0.4mm needle). Materials: ABS-like/Siraya Tenacious resin, wire, IV tubes, magnets, lacquer + enamel paints.
The IV tubes have an internal wire that allow posing of the umbilical cords.
Back view of the figure.
Due to the transparent material of the inner "flesh", light can pass through the figure and create a glowing effect.
Build process photos of sanding and test assembly stages. The figure consists of roughly 32 individual parts which I also cut and keyed in Blender before printing.
3D model sculpted in Blender. The umbilical cord is only roughly mocked in, since it will not need to be printed and will be constructed from a different material.
X - Early 2D Concept. I ended up developing some of the details during the modeling process as the “story” clarified in my head. Additionally, various design changes were made when converted to 3D, in order to look better in physical form.
Custom Figure Commission: "Tuan Kirie (Harmony)"
Height: 12.5in/31.75cm (1/6th scale). Sculpted in Blender, printed on the Elegoo Mars 3 + Saturn 2, with the Harder & Steenbeck Ultra airbrush (0.2/0.4mm needle). Materials: ABS-like/Siraya Tenacious resin, custom waterslide decals, wire/metal rods, magnet
Character design originally by Redjuice, for the animated movie "Harmony".
The cape is removable and can be displayed with or without.
Build process photos: painting. Primarily using lacquer paints. Enamel paints are used for fine detail work like the face.
Build process: test assembly and sanding. When the pieces are fresh out of the printer they are quite rough and require many rounds of sanding in preparation for painting.
Posed 3D model of the figure in Blender. Based on client’s requested reference illustration, with small adjustments made to hold up in 3-dimensional construction/printing.
I send the client the T-pose version of the character model to verify the details and address requested changes before moving it into the appropriate pose and adjusting sculpt details like the hair and clothing wrinkles.

Minifigure: "Demon Lord Mara SD Version (Shin Megami Tensei)"
Height: 3.5in/9cm (Non-scale). Sculpted in Blender, printed on the Elegoo Mars 3, painted with Harder&Steenbeck Ultra airbrush. Materials: ABS-like/Siraya Tenacious resin, wire, lacquer + enamel paints.
This was a minifigure I made in a small batch to sell online and at conventions. The tail doubles as a noteholder.
This is based on a demon from the Shin Megami Tensei games. It looks like a penis, but I honestly don't think he should count as sexual content. No one feels horny when they look at this.
Minifigure: "Inugami (Shin Megami Tensei)"
Height: 7in/17.8cm (Non-scale). Sculpted in Blender, printed on the Elegoo Saturn 2, painted with Harder&Steenbeck Ultra airbrush. Materials: ABS-like/Siraya Tenacious resin, lacquer + enamel paints.
This is another demon from the Shin Megami Tensei series, fondly known as "longdog". I also made a limited batch of these sold at conventions.
Original 2D concept by Kazuma Kaneko, 3D model in Blender, test fit, and painting.
Minifigure: "Shark Ebisu SD Version (Dorohedoro)"
Height: 3in/7.5cm (Nonscale) Sculpted in Blender, printed on the Elegoo Mars 3, painted with the Harder & Steenbeck Ultra airbrush. Materials: ABS-like resin, lacquer+enamel paints.
Production photo during the painting process. This minifigure was also sold in a small batch at a convention.
Blender model and reference images. Based on a character from the series "Dorohedoro", specifically on a stylized drawing my friend Xed Kim did of the character.
Minifigure: "Gojo Couch (Jujutsu Kaisen)"
Height: 2in/5.08cm (Nonscale) Sculpted in Blender, printed on the Elegoo Mars 3. Painted with Harder&Steenbeck Ultra airbrush. Materials: ABS-like resin, lacquer+enamel paints
I'm not going to lie, I don't know anything about Jujutsu Kaisen.
This minifigure was my first personal exercise in “production” where I aimed to design something simple, make a batch of it, and keep consistency of color and quality. Also sold in-person at a convention. Packaging art also by Xed Kim.
Minifigure: "Frog Pan" and "Crab Pan" (Budgett’s Frog and Shame-faced Crab)
Height: 1in/2.5cm (nonscale). Sculpted in Blender, printed on Elegoo Mars 3 and Saturn 2. Painted with Harder&Steenbeck Ultra airbrush. Materials: ABS-like resin, lacquer+enamel paints
The concept was "flat-ish animal that looks like bread, in a pan." Hmm, you don't usually cook bread in a pan though, don't you?
Simple packaging design for sale at the events.
